| Costings All Same-Day courier work undertaken by A To B Couriers would be individually costed in accordance with the following criteria: 1) We will charge from the point of collection to the point of delivery. 2) Rates for small vans and motorcycles are the same. 3) All work is charged on a mileage rate taken from our computer system and is not reliant on inaccurate vehicle speedometers. 4) Accurate quotations are instantly available for each job. Telephone our Sheffield control centre, our computer can work from place names or postal codes. 5) Waiting Time. We do not charge for the first 15 minutes of any waiting time incurred by yourselves or your clients. After this 15-minute period, you will be charged at the rate of £12.00 per hour or pro-rata for part thereof. We will always notify you at the time if waiting charges are likely to be applied to take your instructions. 6) Wait and return journeys (i.e. Deliver to your client for signature etc and return to you) are priced at the one way journey price plus a supplement of 30% plus any waiting time as above. 7) Out of hours work is charged at a maximum of normal price plus 30%. For work that starts only just out of office hours we will not apply any surcharge.
